We grew up here and my family spent many days and nights bowling. At the time this was one of the areas nicer places to spend some time with your family. Now look at it. This whole area of our city looks like this. Run down and the Gang Activity is growing every day. Shootings and stabbings are common. You look at this area and you can see why.
Gresham used to be a VERY nice place to live and Rockwood was ok too. Growing up in East Portland I spent plenty of time in Rockwood and at Rockwood lanes, now when I go to Portland I avoid the Rockwood area as it has become the "Armpit of Portland".
